Description
Swoboda Research Centre are delighted to introduce this new series of reports that showcase the work of student researchers and consultants on credit union subjects commissioned by Swoboda. We are pleased to make these papers available, not as formal publications of our organisation, but as a contribution to discussion and reflection within the sector. These documents are shared in their original form to preserve the author’s voice and have not undergone the full editorial or peer-review process of our core research.
A particular value of this work lies in the perspective the authors bring The students involved typically begin these projects with little or no prior exposure to credit unions, and some come from countries where co-operative financial institutions play a limited role or are absent alto
gether. Approaching the sector with fresh eyes, and drawing on wider business experience, they often question assumptions that long-standing participants may take for granted.
