Website Registration

Do I need to register an account?

Anyone who wants to read or download Swoboda’s materials needs to create an account, including Members. Items can then be purchased – or, for Members, accessed for free. Please see below for how to register.

How do I register an account on the Swoboda website?
  1. You will click on the login button and get an option to register.
  2. You then provide a username, email address and password.
  3. We will confirm your Membership and you will be able to continue to access Swoboda materials for free!

What should I use as the username for my organisation?

We can only provide one login ID for each organisation. For this reason, we recommend using your organisation name as the username. The credentials you create will need to be shared within your organisation to whomever else needs access to your account, free research, and other content.

Can I have multiple accounts for one organisation?

No, you can only register a single ID for your organisation, which can be shared with your colleagues.

What do I do if I forget my password/get locked out of my account?

Can i download Swoboda Research papers to my handheld device?

Yes, you will be able to download Swoboda’s research papers to your handheld device, as well as computers, tablets etc.


Purchases and Payments

How do I purchase a paper?

You can view all of our products for sale under the ‘Research Papers’ tab on our website. You can click on each paper to read further details and a summary of it. If you choose to purchase the paper click ‘add to cart’. You can then click on the ‘basket‘ icon in the top right-hand corner of the page to go to your cart and check out.


How do I purchase Membership?

You can view our Membership plans by clicking on the ‘join’ tab on the menu. If you choose to purchase membership with Swoboda click the ‘sign up’ button under the description of each membership and then ‘add to basket’. You can then click on the ‘basket‘ icon in the top right hand corner to check out.

What currency are Swoboda's papers priced in?

Swoboda’s papers are priced in both euros and pounds, and you can select which you prefer at checkout.

Do you offer payment by instalments?


Is your website secure?

Yes, your account details such as your name, email and billing address are held securely on our site. If you choose to save your payments details they will be stored securely by our payment infrastructure Stripe.

Will I get confirmation of my purchase/receipt by email?

Yes, you will receive confirmation of your order and a receipt by email.
