At the invitation of the Central Bank of Ireland, Paul Jones and Ralph Swoboda addressed the first plenary session of a CEO Forum on Business Development. The event was held at the Bank and attended by nearly 70 CEOs of credit unions from throughout Ireland.
Drawing on the Centre’s 2017 paper on the Irish credit union business model, Paul and Ralph spoke on how credit unions in other countries have successfully collaborated to obtain the back office expertise and scale economies they needed to offer a much broader range of financial services to their members.
